Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Timothy James of Lumberton, TX has created an adjustable coupling that allows for a 360-degree rotation of the 90, or any other fitting.

While working in construction, Timothy would be in many ditches trying to twist a pipe that had been glued, only to have it break. If this 90 is glued incorrectly, it must be cut off and the process has to start over. This caused him to question why there wasn't a coupling that would solve this issue. He was then inspired to come up with a solution that would benefit every building or electrical contractor that has ever dealt with underground plastic conduit.

When you use the coupling, it allows for rotation of the pipe at connecting joints, thus eliminating the problem of conduit being put in a "bind" that can ultimately cause breakage of the pipe or breaks at the joints. The coupling can be used by anyone, professional or do-it-yourselfer.
