Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Deborah J. Baylor of Fort Worth, TX has created a device so individuals with long nails or orthopedic issues can more easily use a card to pay at the pump or ATM.

With the popularity of long nails comes trouble when it is time to retrieve a debit or credit card from a slot in the ATM or gas pump. Like so many, Deborah found it nearly impossible to remove a card from a bank reader with long nails and just knew there had to be an easier way. In turn, she was inspired to develop the Card Clutch!

The invention consists of a clasp attached to a leather strap. The product is simply attached to any credit or debit card. Once in place, the device allows you to better stabilize the card for insertion and retrieval with minimal effort. How easy! This product will also be hugely beneficial for those dealing with orthopedic issues as well.
